Biography

Bruno trained as an actor at LAMDA and as a singer at the RNCM.

Theatre and TV credits include Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Borkin in Chekhov’s Ivanov and Arkady Strugatsky in Life on Mars.

On the Opera stage Bruno has performed Bartolo and Antonio ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’, Il Commendatore  ‘Don Giovanni’, Varlaam  ‘Boris Godunov’, Dikoy  ‘Katya Kabanova’ and Mephistopholes in Gounod’s ‘Faust’.

Most recent roles include Mustafa 'L'italiana in Algeri' for Pop Up Opera and Don Basilio ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’, Don Alfonso 'Così fan tutte', Banquo 'Macbeth' and the title role in 'Don Pasquale' with Pavilion Opera.

Bruno has worked with Opera Ireland, Scottish Opera, Wexford Festival Opera, ENO and Opera North.
